COMPETITION
Our international competition is open to all guitarists, regardless of age, sex, nationality, etc.
AGE CATEGORIES:
Category A: up to 14 years old
Category B: 15-18 years old
Category C: 19 and over, no age limit
REQUIREMENTS:
All repertoire must be performed from memory, and the program must include pieces from at least two different periods. For participants in Category C, pieces played in the first round may not be repeated in the second round.
Category A: free-choice program up to 8 minutes (December 15th)
Category B: free-choice program up to 12 minutes (December 16th)
Category C: First round - free-choice program up to 12 minutes (December 15th)
Second round - free-choice program up to 20 minutes, which must include a piece by an Israeli composer (December 17th)
If you'd like some help choosing an Israeli piece, we invite you to take a look at our catalog, which includes a few Israeli composers and some of their solo guitar works. These are just suggestions, and you may choose an Israeli piece that is not in the catalogue :)

PARTICIPATION FEES:
Category A: 90 NIS
Category B: 120 NIS
Category C: 150 NIS
Registration is currently OPEN! You have until December 5th to submit your application.

This year's jury consists of three members:
Rovshan Mamedkuliev (Russia) - Chairman of the Jury
Ruben Seroussi (Israel)
Yoram Zerbib (Israel)

Jury members may not evaluate a participant who is their student or a relative.
The verdict of the jury is final and is not up for debate.
PRIZES:
Category A: 1st place - 500₪
2nd place - 350₪
3rd place - 200₪
Category B: 1st place - 1000₪
2nd place - 750₪
3rd place - 500₪

Category C: 1st place - 3000₪
2nd place - 2000₪
3rd place - 1000₪
A special prize will be awarded for the best performance of an Israeli piece.

In addition, all winners will receive diplomas and various gifts.
